SOLIDWORKS or free CATIA? What are the options?
There are several ways to download free CATIA or SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software.
It’s an opportunity to carry out your projects legally, with every chance on your side, thanks to appropriate and innovative 3D CAD tools!
Because the use of illicit software is not an end in itself. Especially as, in the long term, this is far from viable: several hundred companies a year are detected by Dassault Systèmes for unauthorized use of their software. The question you need to ask yourself now: Why pirate, why download a “risky” SolidWorks Crack when there are alternatives like the startups & entrepreneurs program, educational licenses, or free trials, designed to support you in your launch?
How can I get a free SolidWorks?

- Your SolidWorks license remains on a fixed workstation and you lose access to it as soon as your PC is no longer accessible. Not to mention the impossibility of working collaboratively on your assemblies (sharing and updating designs between collaborators is not possible, because you don’t hold multiple licenses for multiple users).
- You can’t flexibly customize your use of the tools.
- You won’t benefit from any personalized Solidworks or Catia support or advice on how to make the most of all the software’s options.
- In 99% of cases, Dassault Systèmes will take legal action against you. You’ll have to pay compensation for the damage caused, so it might as well not come to that. . Dassault Systèmes has developed an ultra-powerful system to detect the use of cracked/pirated SolidWorks & Catia licenses.
- Your project data is in no way protected or secured.
- You’re bound to be using versions of Solidworks that will eventually become obsolete, due to non-existent maintenance.
- The performance of illegal licenses is much lower than that officially issued by Dassault Systèmes: this is bound to have a short- or medium-term impact on your project’s ambition and results.
- There is no warranty.
- You can find some examples of users detected by the Dassault Systèmes compliance department on the SolidWorks forums. So don’t take any chances
