The CATIA Mechanical Designer role enables users to fully create advanced mechanical products and parts, from the conceptualization phase through to detailed design.

It handles the entire process, including part design, surface design, sheet metal parts, assembly creation, mechanism movement, 3D model revision and drawing generation.
Thanks to full integration in the 3 DEXPERIENCE platform, it is possible to collaborate and share modifications between the team, and to work simultaneously on the same product.

To facilitate the design process, users can also take advantage of CATIA’s full range of modeling functions, including direct modeling technology, functional design, the advanced feature-based approach and knowledge-based design automation.
